Review: GoPro Light - Lightdow, Sannce, SJCam, Neewer, Suptig
Finally got my new replacement light. This review covers a broad brand range of lights as realistically they are pretty much the same light just re-branded.

The light is actually advertised as a Diving light with the capability of 30M. Light run times range from 1 hour at high, 4 hours at low, and 6 hours on flashing. With Gopro style mounts on top and bottom, it allows you to mount a gopro to be mounted on top and then on to the base of your choice.




The biggest key to choosing one of these multi-branded lights is the battery style. The housing on all these units are the same, so the performance and design have no difference. However, the battery set-up on these units varies. They are built to utilize different types of battery packs so you want to be sure you choose one that best suits your needs. Basically, your options are a built in battery pack (home cordless phone style battery), generic GoPro battery (Chinese GoPros), or a GoPro 4 battery. By choosing the correct battery, it can give you the ability to carry spare batteries, or to utilize the same battery that you are using in your GoPro.

Overall, I am very pleased with this light. Compared to my high end Search and Rescue head lamp this does a much better job as it is a wide beam that lightens up a broad area up close which is the best that a Gopro will be able to pick up in the dark. This is versus my headlamp which will give a very concentrated beam which only lightens a small diameter of subject matter and making it hard for the GoPro to record.

So far I am very happy with this very affordable unit and look forward to the much better night videos.
